The joint-stock companies Strelets, Taurus, Eridan and LLC Pollock First joined the Fishery Shipowners Association (FSA).
The Strelets, Taurus and Eridan companies are part of the NOREBO group and fish for cod, haddock, halibut, mackerel and other fish species in the Barents and Norwegian Seas, off the coast of the Svalbard and Jan Mayen Islands, on the Reykjanis Bank, off the coast of East Greenland, the Faroe Islands, Morocco, Mauritania, as well as in the international waters of the Atlantic Ocean.
The company "Pollock First" operates the first Russian-built supertrawler from the series for the Russian Fishery Company. The supertrawler started fishing in the Far East fishery basin at the end of last year, it catches pollock and herring.
Today, the FSA unites 31 marine fisheries companies, which account for about a quarter of the total Russian catch of marine aquatic biological resources.
