Leaders of the Public Council under the Federal Agency for Fisheries have been elected

At the first meeting of the new members of the Public Council under the Federal Agency for Fisheries, the candidates for the head of the council and his deputies were approved.

The President of the All-Russian Association of Fishery Industrialists (VARPE) German Zverev was re-elected Chairman of the Public Council. His deputies were elected President of the Pollock Catchers Association Alexey Buglak, authorized representative of the director of the Norebo Management Company Vladimir Grigoriev, Vice President of the Fishery Shipowners Association (FSA) Alexey Osintsev and Chairman of the Union of Fishery Industrialists of Karelia Ilya Rakovsky.

The industry faces many tasks, for the implementation of which it is necessary to take into account public opinion. I am confident that our joint work will continue constructively.

The Public Council ensures an effective dialogue between fishermen and the Federal Agency for Fisheries, allowing for the needs and capabilities of the industry to be taken into account when making decisions on its regulation. The new composition of the Council will continue and strengthen this work in the interests of the Russian fishery and the development of the fish products market, taking into account today's difficult situation.

The term of office of the members of the Public Council is three years from the date of the first meeting of the newly formed composition.
