FSA completed certification in all pollock fishing areas

The Fishery Shipowners Association (FSA) received a certificate of compliance with MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) sustainable fishing standards for pollock fishing in the regions of Eastern Kamchatka and the Northern Kuriles.

The certificate was solemnly presented to the association within the framework of the V International Fishery Forum in St. Petersburg.

Earlier, the FSA confirmed for its members the compliance with the pollock fishing standard in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea, in the East Sakhalin subzone. Thus, pollock fishing is MSC-certified in all areas where FSA members fish.
