Fish and seafood supply opportunities to Korea expanded

The list includes vessels of members of the Fishery Shipowners Association (FSA), suppliers of both fish and crab products, including new vessels built under the investment quota program.
The list of fish products - both frozen raw materials and deeply processed products (fish fillets, minced meat, surimi). As we wrote earlier, an increase in the share of Russian exports of such high-margin products to Korea may serve to increase their value.
Let us recall that by the end of 2024, the total volume and cost of supplies of Russian fish products to Korea decreased. The gap in volume was 13% (up to 250.9 thousand tons) from the figures for the previous period, and in cost - 19% (up to 834.35 million US dollars). The average price decreased by 7% (from 3.56 to 3.33 US dollars/kg). At the same time, Korea remains one of the key destinations for Russian fish exports.
