According to a study, conducted by the Financial Research Institute of the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation for the period 2018–2021, positive dynamics of indicators for fishing and fish processing were noted in the regions where investment quotas were allocated.

In the regions of shipbuilding, the shipyards' Capital and Reserves indicator increased 24 times, non-current assets increased nine-fold, current assets increased fivefold, and product sales increased three and a half times.
The conclusions drawn from the results of the study are preliminary and will be updated in July 2022, taking into account the analysis report on the final indicators by the economic sectors for 2021.
