The development of exports of fish products will be discussed in September

The round table “Measures for the development and support of the export of fishery products,” organized jointly with Rosrybolovstvo by the Fishery Shiowners Association (FSA), will be held in St. Petersburg as part of the VII GLOBAL FISHERY FORUM & SEAFOOD EXPO RUSSIA.

While maintaining the priority of supplies to the domestic market, the development of exports, whose share in industry revenue is significant, is one of the most important components of the sustainability of the fishing industry.

In the face of various restrictions on the markets of the USA, Great Britain, and EU countries, Russian fisheries producers maintain production levels and rebuild the structure of supplies. Sales to Asia are developing, new export directions are opening. However, its financial efficiency is decreasing, which requires the development of measures not only to stimulate fish processing, but also to support exporters.

Round table participants will discuss the current and target structure of exports, its effectiveness and importance in the financial results of the industry, as well as barriers to development and possible incentive measures from the state.
